Diner en Blanc returns to Okanagan Valley this July

One of the world’s most celebrated pop-up dining experiences is returning to the Okanagan Valley this summer.

New local hosts are bringing the global culinary event, Diner en Blanc, back to the Okanagan Valley on July 16, 2026, at a stunning new secret location.

Tickets will be released in phases beginning in late May. Those wishing to experience this unforgettable evening are invited to join the exclusive fan list at okanagan.dinerenblanc.com to be among the first to reserve tickets when Phase 3 opens.

“We’re excited to welcome guests back for an elegant evening that celebrates the spirit of the Okanagan through food, wine, fashion and community,” said host and sommelier Mireille Sauvé. “There’s something incredibly magical about seeing hundreds of people gather together in white at a stunning secret setting for one unforgettable evening.”

The event combines gourmet dining, live entertainment and the excitement of a surprise location, transforming a public space into a breathtaking open-air soirée for one night only. Guests will gather at departure locations in communities from Kelowna to Oliver before being transported to the secret site.

The internationally celebrated event, which marked its 10th anniversary in the Okanagan in 2024, now welcomes a new local host team made up of three familiar names in the region’s wine, media and events community.

Sauvé, founder of The Wine Umbrella, is a respected B.C. winemaker and educator with global experience in event marketing. She is joined by Chantelle Froats of Ankor Strategies, who brings expertise in strategic partnerships and event management, and Yvonne Turgeon of Before & After Media, a wine writer and publisher of Orchard & Vine Magazine who has a long-standing presence in the region’s food and wine industry.

Together, the trio brings a shared passion for creating memorable experiences that celebrate the beauty, culture and connection of the Okanagan.

Adding to the evening this year is the international theme: Une Soirée Parisienne – La Belle Époque. For 2026, Dîner en Blanc celebrates an era of Paris defined by elegance, artistry, and refinement. Guests are invited to embrace an elevated all-white aesthetic, where fashion becomes a form of expression. Tables, styled in pure monochrome, echo the sophistication of historic salons and café culture.

“The location remains secret until the very moment of arrival, creating a sense of anticipation and delight,” said Sauvé. “Born in Paris, Diner en Blanc carries the timeless spirit of a true soirée parisienne—where conversation lingers long after sunset, café culture meets elegance, and a beautiful table becomes a place to reconnect with the finer things in life. This summer, we’ll bring a touch of that romance to the Okanagan for one unforgettable evening.”

Guests can bring their own gourmet picnic or reserve catered options through the official e-store. In keeping with the French-inspired tradition, wine and champagne selections are available for pre-order through the event platform. Attendees are welcome to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages.

As part of Diner en Blanc’s global commitment to sustainability, guests are asked to leave no trace behind, ensuring the venue remains as pristine as they found it.
